Gotta see blog!!!

Ok, there's a blog I have listed that you HAVE TO CHECK OUT. It's: http://turnipgreensandsweettea.blogspot.com/

I have been meaning to tell you ladies about it for a while now, but keep forgetting to! The blog belongs to my sister-in-Law Jenny. Now, before you start thinking I am just trying to ham her up, you must visit her site first.

Jenny does the most amazing work. Just take a look at all of her stuff. My most recent favorite is the baby shower she did. Her pics are better than any magazine ad I've seen! Of course, I think everything she does is great! I say this not because I am partial, but because it's true!

I have never ever liked the color yellow. I think because I heard once yellow was a color that made people crazy. I figured I was crazy enough, no need to add yellow to the mix and make me crazier. ANYHOO......the baby shower pics Jenny took made me fall in love with yellow!

Lucky for me, we will be taking a trip this fall to see Jenny & the family. I can't wait to try some of Jenny's yummy food. I told Jason we would have to lose 30 pounds before we go there, because undoubtedly we will not be able to resist her cooking. I'll be sure to post pics this fall while we are there!

At the last Love's Class we also painted wooden tulips to place in your potted plants at home. I think they went great with out Easter cards!

Baby cards

Fun colors!
Of course my favorite! Again, pink and chocolate!

There are tons of ideas you can use. Anything can be moved, colors and accessories changed. The sky is the limit! These are just a few that I had laying around. Most of my card ideas come from splitcoaststampers.com Feel free to email me with any questions. Even when you are past the baby years, these make good gifts for expectant moms. You can make (or buy from me) the cards to use as shower invitations, baby thank you's for the mom, birth announcements, etc.

Baby cards

Twin card
Layered with vellum
This one wasn't a baby card, but would be super cute with a hand or footprint stamped in the center in light pink (or blue). The top of the card has a spot to insert a pic or additional information....like directions or a thank you note.
Printed on vellum to soften the bolder colors used.
Good card to give to expectant or new mothers
The small circle have letters inside with the baby name. I think it would be cuter with it just printed out and layered.

Words printed, and then the feet were stamped on.
I really like the swirls!

Another set of twins!
Printed on vellum with pacifiers in the background.
A bright pink card! Great for the divas!
One of my favorites....pink and chocolate of course.
The baby hand is embossed, so it gives texture.

Gift

My oldest daughter has a birthday party she'll be attending today. She selected the stuff for the necklace and bracelet and I made them. Then we took some ribbon and decorated a simple white box.

I really enjoy making these gifts for girls. What girl doesn't love jewelry? Plus, it beats getting a bunch of other junk that will be cluttering up the house.
