The best cupcakes ever! I call them "Angel wings!" Better as a cake, though. My friend Terre made this years ago, and I never forgot it. I finally got around to making them. You bake a white cake as directed. After it's cooled, poke holes all through it. Pour a can of coconut cream (not coconut milk) all over. After the cream has settled into the cake, top with whip cream, sprinkle coconut and place cherries all over. The cake just melts in your mouth! The coconut isn't overwhelming and the lightness of the whipcream just makes it more dreamy!
